McGuffey Lane's high-energy
rock, country and contemporary music have been attracting attention
throughout Ohio and the Midwest for nearly twenty years. But this veteran
band remains fresh and innovative, redefining itself with an infusion of new
talent that blends perfectly with the bands established style.
Ever since their magical 'break" when the band was
playing the Ohio State campus years ago and got discovered and signed to a
record deal, McGuffey Lane has built their career on music which has been
both artistically and commercially successful, leading the group to tours
with The Charlie Daniel's Band, The Judds, Marshall Tucker, and The Allman
Brothers.
With record sales of over 300,000, McGuffey Lane continues to have a strong,
loyal following.
The 1995 High Chief Records release of "McGuffey Lane's Greatest Hits" and
the 1998 Lick Records release of “Call Me Lucky” has generated new interest
in the band and precipitated the new touring lineup.
With McGuffey Lane's well-known music, such as the favorite hit Long Time
Lovin' You, mixed with the band's own brand of humor, both long-time fans
and the newly converted are hungry for more of he McGuffey Lane American
music experience. |
