Delyn Christian

and the DCB

Delyn Christian is a local singer/songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. He has been playing around the Columbus area for the last 20 years, doing an acoustic solo show and playing in different local bands. His combination of raw energy and true soul is felt with every song he sings. With the help of his band (the DCB) every audience member goes home smiling.

The DCB is a band that is sure to please any crowd, playing a wide variety of music, including songs from Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Delbert McClinton, Trisha Yearwood, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Tom Petty and many others.

The band includes Delyn Christian on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica, Rick Waters on vocals and lead guitar, Pete Carey on vocals and guitar and Phil Maneri on bass guitar. Together this unit is a joy to listen to and to watch.

 Rick Waters

Rick has been a familiar face on the Columbus music scene since moving from Long Island, N.Y. His musical influences run the gamut from The Beatles, Eric Clapton and Neil Young to B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Bruce Springsteen.

While his steady guitar work embraces the band's music with passion, his self-effacing humor keeps things light in the DCB locker room.

Pete Carey

Pete has been playing the guitar professionally since the age of 15. He received his music degree from The Ohio State University. Pete travels throughout the midwest playing the Flamenco guitar and is also an instructor at the Sawmill Music store in Columbus, Ohio.

Phil Maneri

Phil has been a bass player for the past 28 years, a songwriter for 20 years, a guitar repairman for 15 years and a store owner for the past 4 years.
