The
Challengers
offer a wide variety of music in their shows and
concerts. Their strong harmonies, versatility and sense of humor has always been the key
to their success. In one show, the audience may have the opportunity of hearing country,
gospel, oldies, a capella numbers and many other genres of music. During this past year,
The Challengers
have
enjoyed a tremendous response with some of their original material being included in their
programs, which lead a recording contract with The Rainbow Collection Ltd.. They have
already completed several recording projects in Nashville, Tennessee. Their love for
music, fun and performing is a drawing factor that keeps audiences coming back for more.
The Challengers
are
experienced and much in demand. Their consistency in personnel over the years has played a
key role in their success, enabling them to average over 200 dates annually. They travel
throughout the country in their own custom-designed bus performing at state and county
fairs, festivals, dinner theaters and corporate functions. Some of their most recent stops
along their very busy touring schedule have been for Eastman Kodak, Amway,
General Motors, John Deere Company, The All American Quarter Horse Congress, Ohio Hospital
Association, NBD Bank, Victoria's Secret, Mead Paper Company, The Ohio State Fair, The
Indiana State Fair and too many county fairs to mention. With that many performances, it
is easy to understand how they have created a tight, rich sound that attracts different
groups of music lovers everywhere they go.
Their versatility has enabled them to open up shows for some of the top names in country
music such as Alabama, Ricky Skaggs, Crystal Gayle, B.J. Thomas, Marie Osmond, Billy Dean
and Confederate Railroad, as well as with the biggest names from the past such as Tommy
James, Gary Puckett, The Diamonds, Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Turtles, Peter Noone,
Bobby Vee, Chubby Checker, Blood Sweat & Tears and many, many others. So, whether you
