WOMEN WITH A JAZZ ATTITUDE

A new brand of exciting, dynamic jazz has hit the Columbus, Ohio area!  Nine excellent musicians, who also happen to be women, ignite the scene with hot new interpretations of jazz standarsds by Miles Davis, John Coltrane. Sonny Rollins, Thelonius Monk, Horace Silver, "Cannonball" Adderly, Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck.  Then they dazzle with more contemporary artists- Sade, David Sanborn, Grover Washington Jr.Then they funk it up and rock it out with Santana, Booker T and the MG's, and blues standards.Finish this off with stellar originals!  All this blends together into a sweet, soulful full-band sound of impressive variety!

They're proven, performing extensively in the Columbus area, including Juneteenth Festival, Comfest, The Columbus Arts Fest, Jazz and Ribs Fest, Red White and Boom, Old Town East Festival, Music in the Air Jazz Concerts, Lancaster Festival, Liberty All A-merican Meatloaf Championship, Artist in COnventions, cultural events.

Danceable, yet complex enough to intrigue the intelligent listeners, Moxie will, at the very least, entertain you fully.
